With more than 80 years of experience behind them and part of the legendary Gracie family, Ryron and Rener have developed this incredible system for kids of all ages in an effort to address the terrible problem of bullying across the Globe. The Gracie Bully Proof program will help your child develop the confidence and ability to prevent fights by standing up to bullies instead of falling victim to them.

We invite you to bring you child in for a 1 on 1 interview with me and I’ll take you through the basic structure of the Kids Bully Proof Program. After this I will introduce you to the Head Coach and assistants. We then guide you and your child through the class as it progresses and helps you understand what is happening and why. If you feel comfortable and your child is interested, he or she will be invited back for their first live lesson.

Depending on the age of your child they will then be placed in their appropriate class. We have 2 separate classes. 4-8 years old are called our Pythons and 9-13 years olds our Anacondas.

Besides the obvious improvements that come with martial arts training like increased flexibility, agility, improved gross motor skills etc. More importantly, we place emphasis on a child’s self-worth and encouragement in striving to achieve their goals.

 In the early years of Jiu-Jitsu training, it is very important that our kids are having fun. Fun is at the core of the Pythons class. Although they don’t realise at the time, all of the games are based on real defence/fight scenarios. They are also the exact movements found in the practical application of the techniques in the Anaconda program. These games are essential to your child’s development within Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. These games will make up the foundation that will carry them through to the entire kids Anaconda curriculum.

The kids Anaconda class follows on from the younger Pythons class. No prior experience is needed as the class is structured so that students can join in at any time of the year and not be lost in the program. The kids follow the junior development self defence program developed by the Gracie family. We feel this system is unmatched. It is the best and most effective for the development of kids self defence available.

1. Jiu-Jitsu is a great source of cardiovascular exercise which promotes good overall health. It is one of the very best cardio workouts you will ever come across.

2. Jiu-Jitsu is a great core workout which helps a person with overall stability and balance.

3. In additional to health benefits, Gracie Jiu-Jitsu teaches very important self defence techniques that may help to save your life if caught in a situation with a physically aggressive opponent. Axis Jiu-Jitsu follows the same guidelines and principles on self defence as Master Rickson Gracie….”If your Jiu-Jitsu doesn’t work on the street then you are not doing Jiu-Jitsu.”
