This class addresses the street effective Jiu-Jitsu based on the original Gracie Self Defense.
The Class us tailored specifically for the beginner and covers all the fundamental positions, techniques escapes and attacks for street effectiveness fight simulation drills to get you ready not only for the possibility of being attacked in a street situation but also in preparation to attend the follow-on fundamental and intermediate classes.
At Axis Jiu-Jitsu Academy we place great importance on looking after our beginners and making sure you are 100% prepared, having strong fundamentals first before allowing you to attend the more advanced classes is important to us. Theis ensure you very comfortable in yourself and your technique first before making the transition to a general Jiu-Jitsu class which can be daunting for a lot of people….Getting thrown to the Lions can be either humbling or devastating….We much prefer look after you first.
In this class, focus is place on the advanced variations of the techniques taught in the fundamentals classes. The evening sessions are structured in a progressive way so they follow on from the morning class in more detai. It is very important for the ease of learning that you be taught in this manner so that you can literallt….follow the story….one class can flow onto the next with ease of understanding and simplicity. This will five you a very solid game based on understanding exactly what you are doing and why.
